Help Our Team

Donate to the Alumiboti

Empower the Leaders of Tomorrow

FIRST Robotics & the Alumiboti challenge our students to be the best version of themselves. This is accomplished with the help of generous donations to allow the team to purchase new equipment and attend competitions.

We aren't just members of a school club; we run a business. FIRST Robotics starts with the robots but includes sponsorship and public relations management, social media engagement, financial tracking, task management, design & art production, and so much more! This takes a large team of diverse, driven individuals to run smoothly and stay competitive every year, but we can't do it alone.

Running a FIRST Robotics team is not easy or cheap. Build season alone has the team meeting for around 100-200 hours before we arrive at a competition. Preparing for a single competition can cost up to $12,000 between manufacturing, tools, registration, and travel! Read our 2023 recap post to see what we have planned and what our fundraising goals will work towards purchasing.

We ask our readers and supporters to contribute to the team, either through financial donations - see more below on the process - or by giving their time through volunteering and mentorship. Any time or donation you have to offer is greatly appreciated, whether 5 minutes or 5 dollars, all the way up to whatever you feel comfortable with.

Is my donation tax-exempt?

Yes! St. Joe's is a 401-c(3), tax-exempt organization, and your donations to the team are tax-exempt and tax-deductible.

What should I do as a company that wants to sponsor?

The Alumiboti have a tiered sponsorship program that provides a mutually-positive relationship for both the team and sponsor. Details can be sent as soon as interest is shown.

What does the team spend their allocated budget and donations on?

Our expenses usually go towards a mix of competition registration, travel & lodging, machinery & tools, raw materials for fabrication, food for weekend meetings, and electrical components such as motors & controllers.
